About StAC

Strategic Vision

IMG2

Our overarching strategic goal is to ensure the long-term viability of St Andrew’s College as an innovative learning community that provides an excellent standard of balanced, independent co-education.

Our vision is that St Andrew’s students will be active participants in a dynamic community of learners and inspired to become valued citizens and enthusiastic learners for life. We will nurture the development of talent and creative ability through a balanced exposure to academic, cultural, service, social, spiritual and sporting opportunities.

Strategic Plan and Whole-school Goals

The St Andrew’s College Board of Governors and senior management team pay close attention to factors within and outside the school that affect the way we operate and how teaching and learning programmes are delivered. Our responses to those factors and our analysis of future challenges, considerations and opportunities are articulated in a Strategic Plan, which is organised into four ‘critical dimensions’: Leadership and Governance, Teaching and Learning, Resources and Environment, and Values and Culture.

The Strategic Plan forms the basis of annual whole-school goals. These are specific, measurable objectives that shape the way we operate as an organisation. Whole-school goals, and our progress towards them, are communicated to all staff and parents via newsletters and the College intranet.

The Strategic Plan is available in hard copy from the College reception or click here to download the file.
