Today we remember and acknowledge the families of those who have lost loved ones in their service at war, to those who have lost loved ones in their service to their country at home, and to those who have had loved ones serve and return home yet have had to live with the sacrifices that war brings upon them.
While we are in our isolation bubbles today I hope we can all take a few moments to remember that many before us have had to isolate themselves, have had to be separated from loved ones, in far less comfortable surroundings than what you and I find ourselves in today.
The old Memorial Chapel at St Andrew's College stood on the original chapel site and was built in memory of those from St Andrew’s College who lost their lives at war and to those who served their country at great cost. Today we will call their names in honour of them and their families. We will remember them.
