Centenary Film

The Centenary Film is a visual time capsule that showcases 100 years of St Andrew’s College history and celebrates the Centenary milestone. The museum worked with Old Collegian Rick Harvie from Belmont Productions to complete this centenary project.

Helping to tell the story of the college are interviews with a variety of Old Collegians, currents staff members and members of the wider St Andrew’s College community. These voices provide the narrative that highlights the many faces of St Andrew’s College. While there is a strong focus on the contemporary college, it is important to look back and explore the college's roots and the men and women who secured the College's legacy. To ensure this many archival films from the college archives have been digitised and incorporated into this film as well as shooting the modern college.

There will be something familiar in this film for everyone who views it, whether it be buildings, familiar faces or camps at Castle Hill, this project aims to explore every aspect and experience of a StAC student. It debuted at the weekend Centenary celebrations, where it invoked nostalgia and pride for all those connected with St Andrew’s College.
