Year 9 Information Evening

Our Year 9 Information Evening will be held in April this year, and provides you and your child with a helpful introduction to life at St Andrew’s, including what they can expect in their first year of Secondary School at the College. You will hear from several speakers, including students discussing their personal transition to Year 9, and the range of exciting subject choices on offer at St Andrew’s.

Rector, Christine Leighton and Head of Secondary School, Evert van Florenstein also make an address. Our College Registrar, Lynn Smith will provide details on the enrolment process.

Following this evening is a more in-depth Year 9 Information Evening in November, for students whose enrolments have been accepted. At this time, parents and students will meet the Year 9 Dean and have the opportunity to book an interview.

Application Deadlines:

• Year 9 Boarding Applications – Monday 20 March 2023
• Year 9 Applications (for children and siblings of Old Collegians) – Monday 20 March 2023
• Year 9 Day Student Applications – Thursday 6 April 2023
• Year 10–13 Boarding and Day Student Applications – Sunday 20 August
