International Tuition Fees

The Board of Governors and Executive at St Andrew’s College make every effort to ensure tuition fees are kept to a minimum. Fees are reviewed each year. Careful consideration is given to all factors affecting the cost of providing a high-quality education at the College.

2012 Tuition Fees for International Students

(NZ$ per annum. Includes a New Zealand Goods and Services Tax)    

Years 1 and 2                      $21,600
Years 3 and 4                      $23,100
Years 5 and 6                      $23,600
Years 7 and 8                      $24,600
Years 9 to 13                       $27,400 

Excluded from these fees are: NCEA(external exam) fees, purchases at the College Shop (uniform, sports uniform, personal stationery etc), doctors’ fees, pharmacy charges, sports tours, taxis (personal), outdoor education camp charges, overnight field trips, lost and/or damaged texts/library books, photography/TV/film and other specialist course fees.

Application Fee

$250 (non-refundable)

Acceptance of Place Fee

$500 (non-refundable)

2012 Boarding Fees (International Students)

(NZ$ per annum. Includes a New Zealand Goods and Services Tax. Paid in addition to tuition fees.)    
Years 7 to 13                       $12,000

Disbursements

A disbursement bond of $1,000 is required when tuition fees are paid. This will be credited to the student's final account. All disbursements are the responsibility of the student and are to be paid monthly.

Home Stay Fee

$220 per week plus $10 administration fee per week.

NCEA Examination Fees

$400 for 48 or more credits (approximately); $100 per subject for scholarship entry

Insurance

$600 per year (approximately)

Care Provider/Guardian Fees

$3,500 per academic year

Uniform

$1,500 (approximately)

Extra-curricular Activities

$350 (approximately)

Extra Tuition (One-on-one with Tutor)

$45 per hour

Payment of International Student Fees

International student fees are payable in full and in advance by 30 November of the year preceding tuition.
