Year 7 Teacher/ Head of Sport

Permanent full time position commencing May 2012.

The Preparatory school has 430 girls and boys from Years 1-8. The school has outstanding facilities and resources, and an enviable reputation for quality learning and a happy environment.

This exciting position presents an opportunity for an outstanding classroom teacher seeking increased responsibility. It is envisaged the position will be a stepping stone to DP and Principal roles in the future. The person will teach a Year 7 class and coordinate school sport which will include allocating children to teams and overseeing staff coaches and managers.

Term 1 is always a very busy one on the school calendar and 2012 will be no exception, with a number of important school events. An exciting celebratory event will be the Official Opening of the New Preparatory School by His Excellency Lieutenant General The Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae, Governor-General of New Zealand, on Thursday 23 February.
