International Students

Special Events

International students add wonderful colour and diversity to the St Andrew’s College campus, and this is something we like to celebrate each year. An international assembly, concert or food fair helps to showcase international diversity and make our visiting students feel welcome and special.

International Club

The International Club is led by elected representatives from the international community at the College, who are normally Year 13 students. It gives strong support to new international students by introducing them to others who have experienced life at the College and can offer good advice and help when needed.

Some students who are not part of our international community also choose to attend club meetings and activities. This helps international students to make friends outside the international community, and gives them a local perspective on issues affecting the school and beyond.

Term 1 is always a very busy one on the school calendar and 2012 will be no exception, with a number of important school events. An exciting celebratory event will be the Official Opening of the New Preparatory School by His Excellency Lieutenant General The Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae, Governor-General of New Zealand, on Thursday 23 February.
