The College Shop, located just off campus at 60 Normans Road, supplies all items of College and sports uniforms (except shoes) for girls and boys at all levels, all stationery required for study, and a wide range of general supplies and services including dry cleaning, clothes alterations, postal services, bags, phone cards, leaver's rings and StAC branded merchandise. Supplies for boarding students, such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant and shoe polish, are also available. The Second-hand Shop is located in Cricket Pavillion and facilitates the sale of good quality second hand StAC uniforms for both Secondary and Preparatory School students.

Please note, new College uniforms are sold exclusively through the College Shop.  If you are purchasing items second-hand from other sources, please ensure they comply with the standards detailed in the Preparatory School, Middle School and Senior College handbooks, provided to all students.

Second-hand Uniform Shop | January Opening Hours

The shop is run by PTA volunteers and is still located in the old cricket pavilion.

It is a great place to purchase second hand uniform - there is a great selection of most items, at greatly discounted prices.

Please drop off any current regulation school and sports uniform items that you no longer require (these can be sold on your behalf or as donated items). Items must be in excellent condition and have been washed or drycleaned, and be in a bag clearly labelled with your full name, postal address including postcode, phone number, email (preferably parents email, not the students) and your bank account number. Drop items off at the second hand uniform shop during their opening hours, or at the new uniform shop outside these days/hours.

The shop is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3.00pm–4.30pm during term time.
The last day for 2017 is Thursday 7 December.

The first day back in the new year is Thursday1 February,2018.

It will also open for extra days/hours before school starts back in 2018 from 10.00am–2.00pm on the following days:

• Thursday 25 January 2018

• Friday 26 January 2018

• Monday 29 January 2018

• Tuesday 30 January 2018

The Second-hand Shop accepts payment in cash, cheque only and eftpos only (credit cards not accepted).

The PTA reserves the right to decline and/or dispose of any items that are not suitable for sale without advising the owner.

If you would like to volunteer to help out in the second-hand uniform shop or to find out more information, please contact the PTA by emailing pta@stac.school.nz

Profits from the second hand uniform shop are donated back to the school. In 2017 donations have been made to assist with the purchase of equipment for the music department, 3D printer and materials for it, publication costs for a book written by students and monitoring equipment for the Strowan Stream project.
