St Andrew’s College Farm

The St Andrew’s College Farm is located near Cave, inland from Timaru in South Canterbury. The farm occupies approximately 900 hectares and is leased from the Burnett Valley Trust.

The farm is run as a commercial operation and is stocked with ewes, hoggets and Angus breeding cows. A portion of the land is used as a commercial forestry venture.  It is visited several times each year by our senior Agriculture students, providing them with an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a range of farm disciplines, from stock handling to farm maintenance and business management.

Chapel Update

Chapel Bridge SM

The College is ready to embark on rebuilding its Chapel which was badly damaged in the 2011 earthquakes. The Chapel is a significant facility that services the large St Andrew’s community which has a strong emotional connection to the present building. After a robust consultation process the decision has been made to deconstruct the existing Chapel and build a larger Chapel able to meet the College’s future needs.
