Anzac Day 2026
24 April 2026
Patsy and Keith Wardell (OC 1949), with Rector Mark Wilson
Our annual Anzac Day Chapel Service was held in the Centennial Chapel on Saturday 25 April, and was again well attended by members of the College community. Present at the service were Rector Mark Wilson, Deputy Board Chair Nick Letham (OC 2001), Head of Development and Community Relations Tomo Yee (OC 2008), and Ladies Circle President Gail Turner, who each contributed to the reading of the Roll of Honour and the wreath‑laying at the Memorial Enclave.
Readings and prayers were shared by Principal of Preparatory School Leigh Fowler, Head Girl Charlotte Galvan, and Head Boy Tom Meg Simpson. Solos were performed by Vin Schelp (Year 13) and Luna Robinson (Year 12). The Year 13 address was delivered by Matthew Graham, who reflected on his great‑grandfather’s experiences of war.
The service concluded with The Last Post and Reveille performed by Yuxin (Alice) Chen (Year 12), accompanied by piper Maggie McConnochie (Year 12).
We continue to honour the service and sacrifice of our former students and staff, ensuring their contributions are remembered across generations of the College community.
Lest we forget.
