Enrolment Events

Ngā Taiopenga Whakaurunga

The best way to understand St Andrew’s is to experience the College in action. Our enrolment events give families the opportunity to visit the campus, meet staff and students, ask questions, and gain a clearer sense of whether St Andrew’s is the right fit for their child.

Choose the right event for your family

Families can connect with St Andrew’s in different ways depending on their child’s stage of entry and where they are in the enrolment journey. Some events are designed for early exploration, while others help families prepare for a specific entry point.

Open Days

Our annual Open Days are held in March and are the best opportunity for families to experience the College community, explore learning spaces, and hear from staff and students. Student guides lead tours of the campus, helping visitors see the breadth of academic, cultural, sporting, and pastoral opportunities at St Andrew’s.

Personalised School Tours

Families are welcome to book a personalised School Tour during term time. These tours provide a more individual opportunity to see the College, ask questions, and understand how St Andrew’s could support your child.

Boarding Roadshows

Each year, our Boarding and Enrolments team travels across the South Island to meet families considering boarding. These roadshows are a relaxed opportunity to meet staff, current boarding students, and boarding families, and to understand how boarding at St Andrew’s supports independence, routines, connection, and opportunity.

Year 9 Information Evening

The Year 9 Information Evening in March is designed for families considering entry into Year 9. It provides a focused introduction to life in the Secondary School, including transition, subject choices, student experience, and what families can expect as students move into this important stage.

Shadow Days

Once your child has been offered a place at St Andrew’s, they may be able to spend a day with us as a student. Shadow Days allow students to be buddied with a current student and experience College life before they start. Boarders may also be able to spend a night in the boarding house.

Please contact the Enrolments team for more information about Shadow Days.
