Mid-Canterbury Gathering, Methven 2026

On Tuesday 24 February, we had the pleasure of hosting around 60 guests at our gathering in Methven. Our Old Collegians joined with current and prospective families from the Mid-Canterbury region, weaving past and present into an evening uniquely St Andrew’s.

Our alumni, representing year groups from 1957 through to 2017, enjoyed reconnecting and sharing fond memories of their time at the College. Rector Mark Wilson shared an update of the College’s Strategic Plan, and we were delighted to have our Head Boarders, Katie Taggart and Henry Tayler, who shared their boarding experiences with our new families.

Thank you to everyone who attended, especially those who were able to join us in the middle of their busy harvest season. It was a wonderful evening, and we look forward to returning again next year. These regional gatherings are a wonderful way to bring together the many moving parts of our community and are part of what makes St Andrew’s College such a special place.
