To truly grasp the spirit of St Andrew’s, you need to immerse yourself firsthand at one of our Open Days. Each March, we welcome families onto our campus for our annual Open Days when you will be guided by knowledgeable students who showcase our vibrant community. You will explore our state-of-the-art facilities, engage with staff and students, and gain invaluable insights into life at St Andrew's.

Secondary School Open Day and
Boarding House Open Day

Join us for our annual Secondary School Open Day on Wednesday 4 March 2026. More information will be available closer to the date.

Expert student guides will lead tours showcasing facilities for Year 9–13 students. Visitors will experience classroom observations, demonstrations, and sports training sessions, as well as explore key campus buildings and facilities including the Music Department, TV and Media Studio, High-Performance Fitness Centre, Strowan House, Ngā Toi – Performing Arts Centre, and the Centennial Chapel. This is a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive overview of the College’s Secondary School offering.

Families interested in boarding are also invited to attend the Boarding House Open Day, where you can meet our boarding staff and tour the state-of-the-art facilities.

The day concludes with an address from Rector, Mark Wilson, in the Centennial Chapel, sharing the College’s vision, philosophy, and the exceptional opportunities available for your child at St Andrew’s.

Preparatory School and Pre-school Open Day

Join us for our annual Preparatory School Open Day on Thursday 5 March 2026. More information will be available closer to the date.

In the Pre-school, staff will conduct personalised tours, while enthusiastic student guides will lead tours showcasing the facilities available for Year 1–8 students. Demonstrations in various classrooms will provide insights into the learning environment, with regular lessons also taking place.

Visitors will explore our specialist facilities for Art, Music, Drama, Dance, Science, Food Technology, and individual Music tuition, as well as outdoor sports and playground areas, offering a comprehensive view of the Preparatory School’s offerings.

Friday 13 March 2026:

  • Applications close for Year 9 day and boarding students.

Friday 20 March 2026:

  • Applications close for Years 7 and 9 scholarships.

Sunday 16 August 2026:

  • Applications close for Years 10-13 students and Years 11–13 scholarships.
