The Senior College Complex is a sought after venue during term breaks that has been utilised by many organisations including Rotary’s Artarama, the School Librarians’ Association of New Zealand & Aotearoa, the Photographic Society of NZ (Southern Region) and the Middle Eastern Dance Association of New Zealand.

The Senior College lounge and cafeteria is a unique facility that offers maximum versatility. It is popularly booked for conferences, product launches, trade displays, training seminars and wedding receptions. The Lounge is perfect for relaxed occasions and has numerous lounge chairs and occasional tables. The number of people it can accommodate depends on the room layout.
The Cafeteria seats 80 people at round tables of eight. This facility has a bench with hot water zip and microwave. Note: If you are planning to sell alcohol or alcohol is part of the ticket price for your function, please apply to Christchurch City Council for a Special Liquor Licence.
The Study is a large room, in a quiet location that is ideal for conferences, training seminars and trade displays. Venue hire includes a ceiling mounted datashow and projector screen.

With a tiered seating capacity for 25 people, the Senior College Lecture Theatre is ideal for seminars. This space comes with a datashow and projector screen.
Situated upstairs in the Senior College complex, our Seminar Room is suitable for smaller groups up to 10 people. This space comes with a permanent whiteboard and is regularly booked for seminars and board meetings.
Perfect for small meetings, our Study room is a quiet room suitable for up to 8 people. The Study Room comes with a permanent whiteboard.
With a seating capacity for 80 people, the Junior Cafeteria and Kitchen is regularly booked for semi-formal functions where space for basic food preparation is required. The Junior Cafeteria and Kitchen can easily accommodate morning and afternoon teas and light lunches or suppers. Food warming drawers are available upon request.
