Middle School Years 9–11 and Senior College Years 12–13

Applications to study at Years 9–13 level are accepted all year. However, please note that applications for Year 9 students for the following year close in April of the previous year. All applications received before this deadline will be considered.

  1. Start the enrolment process by completing the appropriate application form. An application fee of $150 is charged at this time.
  2. Upon receipt of your application, your details will be loaded into our database, to ensure you receive important information as the process progresses.
  3. We will contact prospective students to request copies of academic reports from previous schools.
  4. If your child is new to St Andrew's we will invite you in for an interview. If your child is a sibling of a student or a child of a past student then please let us know if you would like an interview. This interview is an opportunity for us to learn more about them, and for your family to learn more about St Andrew’s. The atmosphere at this interview is relaxed and informal.
  5. If the application is successful, we will make a formal offer of enrolment. If the application is unsuccessful at this time, your child will be wait-listed.
  6. As part of your offer, you will be given a clear Acceptance Date, by which time a non-refundable acceptance fee of $500 is payable, which includes the student's life membership of the Old Collegian Association, plus a non-refundable bond of $1000 which will be credited to your first College account when the first tuition charge is made.
  7. If your child is entering Year 9 and their enrolment is confirmed, they will be asked to sit a placement test in September. Results of this test, along with academic achievements at previous schools, will determine their core curriculum classes when they join us the following year.

Please note, priority entry into Year 9 will be given to the following groups for applications received within the publicised time period:

  1. Current St Andrew's College Year 8 students.
  2. Siblings of current and past St Andrew's College students.
  3. Children of Old Collegians.
