Your Legacy, Our Future – Fundraising Campaign

Ō Whakarerenga iho, Tō Mātou Anamata

Your Legacy, Our Future fundraising campaign for a new Fitness Centre and Performing Arts Centre

These are challenging times for all schools, and St Andrew’s College is no different. We have been fortunate that over our 104 year history, families and individuals have generously gifted funds to be used to improve and upgrade our College facilities. However, just as our past community members gave back in order for us to enjoy the College environment we have today, ongoing investment is required to enable us to continue the development of new facilities and maintain the special character and educational excellence St Andrew’s College is renowned for.

The St Andrew’s College Board approved two building projects to complete our new Fitness Centre and Performing Arts Centre.

Project One: StACFit – Fitness Centre

The first project was the relocation and rebuild of the Fitness Centre, strengthening of Gym 1 and an upgrade of the changing room facilities.

The Fitness Centre build commenced in December 2019 and was completed for the start of the 2021 academic year.

The new state-of-the-art Fitness Centre at St Andrew’s College supports our Athlete Development programmes, individual and Scholarship athletes, multi‑sport athletes, swimmers, Physical Education classes, Te Waka groups, boarders, staff and any student wanting to improve their fitness and well-being.

Project Two: Ngā Toi – Performing Arts Centre

The second project is the development of our new Performing Arts Centre, featuring the Gough Family Theatre.

Work commenced in December 2021, with completion due for the start of the 2024 academic year.

This exciting facility will be a hub for many Secondary and Preparatory School students who take part in a wide variety of cultural pursuits at the College.

Our ambitious Your Legacy, Our Future fundraising campaign is critical to the success of these important new developments

We believe that we owe it to our current and future students to provide them with the best education within the best facilities we can. We also honour our Old Collegians and past families by continually striving to maintain the high standards and good reputation which St Andrew’s College has always enjoyed.

We ask those who can, to give back to the College to help us succeed with the Your Legacy, Our Future campaign. Your support would be much appreciated, and there are many different fundraising options to choose from.

If you would like to support our Your Legacy, Our Future campaign, or would like to know more about any of these projects, please contact the Development Office via email development@stac.school.nz or telephone +64 3 940 2021.
