New Preparatory School Principal appointed

We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Leigh Fowler as the new Principal of the Preparatory School at St Andrew’s College, commencing January 2026.

Leigh brings a wealth of experience from her current role as Principal of Te Rito Harakeke – Marshland School. Her leadership is grounded in values, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to inclusive, student-centred education.

A graduate of the Springboard Trust Strategic Leadership Programme and holder of a Master of Educational Leadership with First-Class Honours, Leigh has also led across 26 schools in Communities of Learning – Kāhui Ako through her work with the Ministry of Education.

Leigh’s personal connection to St Andrew’s College, through her own child’s journey, adds a meaningful layer to her professional expertise. We are excited to welcome her into our community and look forward to the next chapter of excellence, care, and connection at the Preparatory School.
